As you all should know by now, there is a new Netflix original series, Dear White People Season One, based off the 2014 movie of the same title. The Netflix series, however, beginnings where the height of the movie ends, and that is the Black Face Party. In my opinion the series is much better than the movie with more racial tones, satire, and comedic relief. I appreciate how the show really goes into detail about the lives of the main characters, and how they came to be who they are. I

I have to admit, initially didn't take Jidenna seriously as a musician. I loved the song "Classic Man" but I just saw him as a gimmick, a one hit wonder. I was dead ass wrong. Turning point for me was Jidenna peforming his song Long Live The Chief on the Netflix series Luke Cage. The beat and lyrics made my jaw drop. So anyone who knows me knows Childish Gambino is one of my all time favorite Hip Hop Artist. Now many of you may recognize Donald Glover from the NBC sitcom Community.
